When this community was visited by Obio Akpor Shadow Budget Group on Tuesday 14th February 2023, Isodu Community’s representatives (Paramount Ruler, Community Development Committee, among others) informed us that the project pictured here was constructed by Rivers State Government and not the Federal Government. The streetlights are generator-powered provided by the Rivers State Government and not solar powered. So, the Federal Government’s Budgeted Solar Powered Street Lights for Isodu has not been constructed as at 14th February 2023. We demand that the above FGN’s appropriated project be constructed. The community should also liaise with their representative in the National Assembly to make sure this project is not duplicated.
