This project was tracked by Ikot Ekpene Shadow Budget Group on the 6th of March, 2025.

• Status : Abak Shadow Budget Group, visited the proposed project’s location on the 6th of March, 2025. This project was not active at the first location visited. At the location, a road (pictured below) that the streetlights may be intended was under construction. Since, this is a 3/2-in-1 project, out of curiosity, we contacted our sister organization, Ikot Ekpene Shadow Budget Group to tracked this project in another location mentioned at Ikot Ekpene descriptively. At Ikot Ekpene School of Nursing Road (pictured below too) as was tracked, what was seen are basements/concretes preparation for streetlights at location 2, that we guessed, should be for this project.

• ACTION REQUIRED : Intended beneficiaries, may check with the Ministry in Uyo or their elected representative to know, what has delayed progress for this project. Such is necessary to avoid fiscal virement from this project, in view of delay on the completion.
