 This project was visited by Uyo Shadow Budget Group on Friday the 3rd of March 2023. During this project’s tracking visit, it was discovered that two villages in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State bears semblance name, which was confusing. That is (1) Ikot Udo Ibiono, and (2) Ikot Udo Obio Oku. It was discovered through the visit that there is no ongoing Federal Project in Ikot Udo Ibiono community. Upon further findings, it was discovered that there was an Ongoing Rural Road Access Construction at Ikot Udo Obio Oku. However, this project pictured above did not have a signage/descriptive project’s labelling. Further interaction with villagers during the visit provided additional information that showed villagers at Ikot Udo Obio Oku strongly thinks this project was facilitated and sponsored by a Senator representing the area in Nigeria’s National Assembly. If that is correct, it could mean that this project is the project ERGP202203364 appropriated for by the Federal Government through Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Further findings could be done to validate villagers’ assumption, if need be…
