- Status : This tracking was the most adventurous task carried out in the vicinity of Obot Akara Local Government Area by Essien Udim Shadow Budget Group. The road construction was supposed to begin from Ibong Village. At the beginning of Ibong Road, only a heap of gravels and sand was poured on the road to a certain point. The villagers when approached for information on the project were furious, lamenting about the seeming deceits that have accompanied the project, while in real sense, they are unsure, if government really want to execute the project. Further discovery was that the road was to cover Ibong Nto Ekpe road and Bridge; Nto Ekpe -Atan Ibong Road and Bridge that extends to Atan Ibong – Usaka Annang Road and Bridge. At Nto Ekpe Village, only construction of gutters was done on the two sides of the road linking to Ibong Nto Ekpe Bridge. There was nothing done on about the road job, neither the bridge, as the road was disfigured and the bridge remains the old narrow old bridge that existed. The construction of gutters continued to Nto Ekpe village and stopped close to Chief John Ikoidem Palace. This project was tracked on the 20th of January 2024.
